iComposer from Synthtopia · 01:59 PM

iComposer from Synthtopia
Synthtopia has developed an app for (surprise, surprise) the iPhone and iPod Touch, called iComposer.
When you hum your tune into iComposer, it is designed to convert the melody into MIDI data that can then be played back via one of the built-in instruments.
iComposer comes with a sound bank of over 130 instruments and apparently it is possible to play back up to eight different parts simultaneously, you can even set the key and time signatures and edit the score. According to one report I read, your tunes can also be exported as MIDI and compressed into audio files. The app is $8.99
